The technology behind TrueSight
TrueSight replaces your rear-view mirror with a 60fps digital display fed by its own dedicated camera. It is an OEM-style replacement designed for a specific vehicle — not a clip-on accessory — and it is developed against 80+ automotive-grade validation and reliability checks.
60fps digital rear view
The rear view is shown on a 60fps digital display rather than a plain glass mirror. A higher frame rate means smoother motion and a more natural sense of movement behind you, which helps reduce the visual fatigue that can come from a laggy or low-frame-rate feed. The digital view also stays clearer than a traditional mirror in low light, rain, and at night.
- Smoother motion. 60fps keeps moving traffic looking natural instead of choppy.
- Less visual fatigue. A steady, high-frame-rate image is easier on the eyes over a long drive.
- Better low-light visibility. A digital sensor and display can show more than a glass mirror after dark.
OEM-style replacement design
TrueSight is built as an OEM-style mirror replacement, not a low-cost clip-on mirror that mounts in front of the original. Each unit is developed for a specific vehicle, so it takes the place of the original mirror and the installation is planned around that car — mounting position, camera location, and wiring path. The result is a clean, factory-style fit rather than an add-on hanging over the existing mirror.
- Vehicle-specific fitment. Developed and documented per vehicle, not a single universal box.
- Clean installation. Sits where the original mirror did, for a factory-style look.
- Not a clip-on accessory. A full replacement, not an attachment over the existing mirror.
A dedicated camera system. TrueSight uses its own dedicated camera and does not rely on, reuse, or connect to the vehicle's built-in mirror camera. The dedicated rear camera is installed and routed as part of the job, which is what keeps the rear image consistent from one vehicle to the next. Plan for this rear-camera routing and installation when scheduling the work — see the installation guide.
80+ automotive-grade tests
TrueSight is developed with OEM-grade quality expectations and has been put through more than 80 automotive-grade validation and reliability checks covering how it performs and holds up in real vehicle use. L2Logic is a development company, not a vehicle manufacturer, and we describe this as OEM-grade quality standards rather than any official automaker certification.
